RANDWICK YEARLING SALES.

At the Sydney yearling sales, held at Randwick stables to-day, a brother to Mountain King (Wallace— Bonnie Rosette) brought 1030 guineas. A colt by San Francisco— Miss Gladys (dam of Gladstone and Apologue) realised 850 guineas, while a bay colt by Mountain KingAlice Mostyn (sister to Lady Mostyn, the dam of Lady Wallace) was sold at 550 guineas. i The New Zealand sportsmen, Messrs. J. and J. Wliitworth, gave 120 guineas for a brown colt by the imported horse Ladurlad from Nyleptha, and another New Zealander', Mr. Dunnett, secured a colt by San Francisco— -Dismay (halfsister to Wakeful's dam) for 120 guineas, and a colt by Scottish King from the Trenton mare Moorooroo for 210 guineas. Mr. G. M. Curries Wanganui year- j lings were sold as follows : — Sister to Manapouri (Soult — Fairy Tale), 300 guineas ; colt by Soult — Grandeur, 400 guineas ; colt by Soult— Alannah^ 300 guineas; Santhia (half -sister- to Sea Elf), 275 guineas. Mr. T. H. Lowry's Great Mogul (brother to Cullinan and Kohinoor) was passed in at 200 guineas, but the colt by Royal Fusilier — Lissadurn was sold at 240 guineas. Mr. William Robertson, of Hawkes Bay, disposed of Lady Donachie (Royal Fusilier— Lady Progress) for 140 guineas. On account of Mr. J. B. Reid, of the Elderslie and Canowie studs, the following sales were effected : — Filly by Charlemagne II. — Firecross, 410 guineas ; colt by Charlemagne II. — Lady Lyonors, 300 guineas ; half-sister (by St. Ambrose) to Danube, 900 guineas ; filly by St. Ambrose — Gipsy • Countess, 200 guineas ; -filly by St. Ambrose — Happy Valiey, 220 guineas.
