The Union Government proposes to amend the Bill, read a second time in the Assembly yesterday, providing for the compensation for miners Buffering from miners' phthisis. The amendment authorises employers to deduct contributions from minera' wages towards a compensation fund. The Miners' Association demands the maintenance of the original form of the Bill.
