SERIOUS CHARGE.
[BT IELIGBA3PH— PBBBS ASSOCIATION.] NELSON, This Day. Edwin Arnold, late from Wellington, a "■man not unknown to the police, was charged in court to-day with assault on an imbecile girl. It is alleged thatArnold wejtt to the girl's parents' house and daamed acquaintance. His behaviour later compelled the people to call for assistance, Arnold was remanded on heavy bail for a week.
