ANOTHER PROTEST.
TO THE JiDITOK. Sir, — ''H.R.,'' in your last issue, bring 3 forward a timely protest ye revolting films at the local shows. I also was unfortunate enough to witness on Good Friday evenings what purported to be a realistic interpretation o£ the "World's Tragedy"— a truly awful attempt on a subject that should surely be left out of this business. The imprint of agony, the thiving- in of the nails, the spear thrust (outrageously pcurtrayed by very obviously made-up mummers) can only be termed a sacrilege. Immediately the iilm \raß shut off I heard objections against its presentation. It i.= certainly not elevating, and not the least bit in good taste. My protest.— l am, <>tc , M.E.H.
