Tne principal attraction was the bowling tournament, which is now proceeding under disadvantageous conditions". Only one green is playable. The Palmerston Bowling Club's Easter tournament was opened yesterday and continued this morning, when preliminary rounds of full rink matches were contested. The weather was. beautiful. Visitors are present from Wellington, Petone, Te Hiwi, Hastings, and Woodville.
