INDESCRIBABLE SCENES.

STREETS BARRICADED. PARIS, 12th April. Indescribable scenes have taken place i in the Valley of the Maine. Thousands of vine-growers spontaneously assembled, and marched to Dizy, near Epernay, the great centre of the champagne trade. On entering the place they ran riot, and in one firm's cellars smashed 230,000" bottles of wine. The mob barricaded three streets with vats, benches, presses, and other material, and burned tar barrels. A force of gendarmes and dragoons has restored order. Many demonstrations and counterdemonstrations have been held elsewhere.
