Donaldson, of Victoria, regained the sprint championship of the world by defeating Holway, the American, by three' yards in 100, the time being ltisec. [Last yeaj, at Johannesburg, Donaldson beat A. B. Postle by 2£ yards, and it was said covered the distance in 9fsee,, th» fastest time in which it had ever been accomplished. He had previously himself been credited with 9 3-ssec for the 100 yards, and with the world's re,cord of ll^sec for 120 yards.]
