There are four survivors of the party headed by Mr. Noel Williamson, a British political officer, who, with others of the party, was murdered at Sadiyo, Assam, by trib3smen. Friendly Abars (the murders were committed by that tribe) state that Mr. Williamson was bound and mutilated. Bentinck's military police, who have left for the scene, are halted at Pasighat. Swollen rivers will render the successful carrying out of the expedition -impossible till the cold weather comes.
