SATURDAY, 15th APRIL. For Australian States, to connect with Maheno at Auckland, per Main Trunk train, 11.15 a.m. For Pieton, Blenheim, Nelson, "Weistport, Greymouth, Hokitika, and Reefton, per Ara- , hura, 12.50 p.m. For Dunedin, per Monowai, 1.20 p.m. For Nelson, per Nikau, 4.20 p.m. For Southern Offices ,of New Zealand, per Mararoa, 7.45 p.m. The best despatch for Continent of Europe, United Kingdom, Canada, and Eastern States ot United States of America, is via, Naples, closing at Wellington, per Mokoia, this day ' at C p.m. Mails lor Australian States and South Africa close at Auckland, per Morea, on Thursday, 13th inst., at 7.45 p.m. On Good Friday, the Postal Department will be closr-d in ail i£s branches. Mails by steamers sailing on the above named day will close •at 8 p.m. on the previous evening. The only despatches by trains on that day will be for the Wairarapa district, which will close at C.30 a.m., and for Manawatu, Wanganui, Taranalci, Hawkes Bay, and Auckland districts at 8 a.m. There will be no clearances of the city and suburban receivers, but the night clearance will be made as usual. There will b« no deliveries by letter-carriers, but on the previous evening and Saturday eyening there will be a delivery over the counter at the Chief Post Office between 8.30 and 9.30 p.m. only for correspondence addressed to the Post Office; and at the Drill-shed between 8.30 and 9.30 p.m. for correspondence which is delivered 'by letter-carriers. On Good Friday mails are not expected to arrive from outside the Dominion. On Saturday, 15th inst., letter-carriers will make two full .deliveries, closing at the Chief Post Office at •'7.45 a.m. and 1.45 p.m. , On, Easter Monday, the Post Office will be open in all its branches (except, the Money--order Department) fiom 9to 10 a.m. Mails by steamers sailing on that day will close at 8 a.m. The only despatches by trains will be for the Wauarapa district, which will close at G. 30 a.m.; and those for the Manawatu, Wanganui. Taranaki, Hawkes Bay, and Auckland districts., which will close at 8 a.m. There "will be no day clearances of the city and suburban reetuvbrs and no deliveries , by letter-carriers.
