NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND. la the matter of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," "The Wellington City Empowering- Act, 1897," "Tho Welington City Empowering Act, 1599," "Tho Wellington City Empowering Act, 1908," "The Tramways Act, 1908/' and "Tho Public Works Act, 1908," and their amendments. NOTICE is hereby given that tho Council of the City of Wellington proposes, uuder the provisions of tho abovementioned Acts, and all other Acts enabling it in that behalf, to execute certain public works, namely, the Widening of MoieMVorth-streel. Tinakori-road, Park-, street, Grant-road, Upper Featherstonterrace, and tho Main-road to Wadestown, and the construction of a Tramway to Wadestown, in the said City, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described m tho schedule hereto are required to be taken, the first eight lots foi Street Widening purposes and the ninth loL for a Tiamwiiy Terminus. And notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so required to bo taken are deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, in tho Town Hall, Cuba-street, in tlie said city, and are there open for inspection without fee" by all persons during ordinary office hours ; and that all persons affected by tho execution of the said public work or tho taking of buch lands should, if they have well-grounded objections to tho execution of the eaid public work or to the taking of the said lands, set forth tho same in writing, and send such writing within forty day-s irom the first publication of this notice, to the Wellington City Council, addressed to tho Town Clerk, at his said office.
