Lieutenant H. Pennell, R.N., of the Terra Nova, had an interview with the Minister of Marine (Hon. J. A. Millar) this afternoon on the subject of the proposed re-sv»rvey of portions of the New Zealand coast. Stainer'p . "Crucifixion" will be given at St. Thomas's Church, Wellington South,, on Wednesday evening. The soloists will be Messrs. J. Searle (tenor), W. 31. Hill (baritor.e), and W. J. Robbins (bass). Mr. W. Collie ivdl preside at tho organ. The l offertory will be in aid of the choir funds.
