REFEREES ASSOCIATION.
<» MEETING OF COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Executive Committee of the New Zealand Referees' Association was held last evening, Mr. F. Hempleman presiding. Nominations for positions of vicepresidents of the association were received as follows: — Horowhenua, Mr, A. M. Bain ; Wairarapa, Mr. W Feild* ing; Canterbury, Mr. H. E. Heddlestone; Wellington, Mr. H. Card. Horowhenua will be represented at the annual meeting of the association, which will bo held in the Town Hall on the 14th of April, by Mr. J. Freeman, Wairarapa by Mr. W. Feilding, Canterbury by Mr. Heddlestone, and Wellington by Mr. D. M'Kenzie. The balance-sheet to be presented at the meeting shows: — Receipts, £71 14s 2d, and expenditure £46 Is 9d. The association began the season with a credit balance of £16 19s lLd, and th® amount in hand now amounts to £26 12s 2d. With outstanding subscriptions, etc.. the value of the assets of the association is estimated at £37 Os 2d.
