Brisbane, 27th August. The Rev. John MacNeil, the well-known Presbyterian evangelist from Victoria, died very suddenly to-day. The rev. gentleman had only just returned from a tour of Northern Queensland. [The deceased gentleman visited Wellington about two years ago and conducted a mission here. He has been a resident of Australia for many years, and must not be confounded with the Rev. John M'Neill, the Scottish evangelist, who was in Wellington 18 months ago, and who is now labouring in Great Britain,]
