HARAPIPI.

The detachment of the Ist Waikato regiment that marched here from Cambridge are still stationed here, and a very s well behaved lot of men they are. The small redoubt on this side of the Waipa, opposite to Te Rori, is now abandoned, and only one company of the 40th regiment left in Te Rori, under the command of Captain Armstrong. Lieut. - Colonel Nelson is to take command at Ngaruawahia. It is rumoured that the company of the 40th left at Te Rori is about to be sent to Raglan to relieve a company of the 19th regiment now stationed there, and that Te Ron is to be garrisoned by militia.— N.
