Falling and clearing bush, and the formation of 90 chains of above road. No. 2— ROAD from FEATHERSTONE to WAIHENGA FkRRY. Falling and clearing bush, and the formation and metalling 1 50 chains more or less of above road. No. 3.— GREAT NORTH-EASTERN ROAD. The formation and metalling 57 chains of portion of above road through Township of Featherstone. No. 4.— The formation and metalling 15 chains of portion of same road northwards from Waiohine Bridge past NgaturUs' pa. No. s.— The formation aa^mjftalling 87 chains of portion of sani/^adir^l near Waingawa River past towards Maßterton. / No. 6. — The formation Xnd metalling 30 chains of portion of same road northwards from Southern boundary of Township of Masterton. No. 7. — The formation and metalling 18 chains of portion of same road through Towcship of Masterton, past Bannister's store. No. B.— For the construction of log culverts, and repairs to 10 chains of portion of same road near Mr. Valentine Smith's residence. No. 9.— FOOT BRIDGE over WAIPO k RIVER. For the construction of afoot bridge over the Waipo River. No. 10.— COURT-HOUSES— FEATHERSTONE and MA.STERTON. For the erection of two Court-houses— one at Featherstone, the other at Masterton. Plans, Sections, and Specifications for the above works may be seen on application to the District Engineer, at the Survey Office, Featherstone, from the 4th to 18th December. The District Engineer will accompany intending Contractors over and point out position of proposed works, on the 13th, 14th, 15th, and 1 6th December. Duplicate Plans and Specifications may also be seen as follows :— Nos. 1 and 4, at Kemhle's Pioneer Hotel, Carterton ; and Nos. 5 to 10, at the store of Mr. William Bannister, Masterton. Tenders, duly endorsed for each separate work, will be received by the District Engineer, at the Survey Office, Featherstone, up to NOON of MONDAY, 18th DECEMBER.
