Provincial Engineer's Office, Wellington, l«t*Dec, 1865. fTIENDBRS are invited for the following X ROAD and other WORKS proposed to be executed in the Wairarapa District, viz. :— No I.— ROAD to HOOKER'S BELVIUERE SAW MILL, "AUTURTON. Falling and clearing bush, and the formation of 90 chains of above road. No. 2— ROAP from FBATHERSTONE to WAIHENGA Fr.KUY. Falling and clearing bush, and the formation and metalling 150 chains more or less of above road. No. 3.-GREAT ROAIX / The formation jmd installing 57 chains of portTojr^ivf aoowr road through Townsj^p^n Fyatljcrstone. No. 4.— The iornration and metalling 15 chains of portjon of same road northwards from Waiohide Bridge past Ngaturi's pa. { No. s.— The formation and metalling 87 chains of portion of same road from near Wningaroa River past Donald's, Manaia, towards Mttsterton. No. 6 — The formation and metalling 30 chains of portion of same road northwards from Southern, boundary of Township of M.isterton. No. 7.— The formation and metalling 18 cliains of portion of same road through Township of Masterton, past Bannister's store. No. 8 — For the construction of log culverts, and repairs to 10 chains of portion of same road near Mr. Valentine Smith's residence. No. 9.-FOOT BRIDGE over WAIPO RIVER. For the const motion of afoot bridge over the Waipo River. No. 10.— COUliT-HOUSES-FEATHER-STONE and MASTEIITON. For the erection of two Court-liouses— one at Featherstone, the otiier at Masterton. Plans, Sections, and Specifications for the above works may bp seen on application to the District Engineer, at the Survey Office, Featherstone, from the 14th to 18th December. The District Engineer will accompany intending Contractor* over and point out posiii'm of proposed works, on the 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th December. Duplicate Plans and Specifications may also be seen as follows :— Nos. 1 and 4, ac Kemble's Pioneer Hotel, Carterton ; and Nos. 5 to 10, at the store of Mr. William Bannister, Masterton. Tenders, duly endorsed for each separate work, will be received by the District Engineer, at the Survey Office, Featherstone, up to %OON of MONO AY, 18th DECEMBER.
