/ STARCH, exclusively used \X i» the Royal Laundry. By special appointment, Starch Purveyors to her lioyal Highness the Princess of Wales. The best proofs of the great superiority of this Starch are the numerous distinguished m »rks of approval which have been accorded to it from all quarters ; amongst which may be mentioned the following, viz. — i It is exclusively used in the Royal Laundry, and her Majesty's laundress says it is the finest Starch she ever used. Honorable mention was awarded at the Gieat Exhibition in London, in 1851. I A prize medal was awarded tor it at the New York Exhibition in 1853 ; and a prize medal was also awarded for it at the International Exhibition in London, 1862. Her Majesty's lace dresser says that it is the beßt Bhe lias tried ; and hundreds of grocers, &c, say that it pleases their customers better than any other, and perhaps the most striking proof of nil is, that not withstanding the great deprepbion in the cotton manufacturing trade, which influences the Starch trade materially, the Glenfieid Starch has continued to incroise rapidly. The manufacturers have evuiy confidence in asserting that it' those ladies and laundresses who do not regularly use this Starch would disregard the advice of interested dealers, who are a. lowed extra profits on inferior articles, and give it a fair trial, they would then feel satisfied with the very superior finish which it imparts to laces, linens' I muslins, &c, the great saving of trouble in its application, and the entire absence of disappointment wilh the results, and would for the future, like the Queen's laundress, use no other. To be had of all respectable Grocers, Druggists, Oilmen, &c, &c, and wholesale ot the manutaeturers, KuBEliT WOTHERSPOON- & CO, Starch Purveyors to her Royal Highness the Princess of Waies ; and manufacturers of Wotherspoon's Victoria Lozenges, which were awarded a prize medal for purity and excellence of quality at the International Exhibition of 1862. 46 Dunlop street, Glasgow ; and.€ 6 Queen , street, London, E.C.
