[ (Before C. L> JR. Ward, Esq., R.M.) Alexander Smith was fined 10s for drunkenness. John Miller, for drunkenness, and assaulting a constable, fined 50t, or three weeks' hard labour. John O'Conner was committed for two months, with hard labour, for vagrancy. William Knight and Sarah Smith were each fined 20s for drunkenness. The following debt cases were disposed of : Mitchell v. Bal linger, debt £5 2s—judgment for 1 69 and costs. Moeller, Jaooby and Co., v. Plimpton, debt £18 14s 3d— judgment by consent for amount and costs. Colquhoun v. Larkins, debt £$ 10a—judgment for amount and costs ; immediate execution grunted. Trustees of Pickett v. Langford, debt J6 1 7 8s 9d— judgment, for amount and costs. Same v. Thompson, debt 9s 6d— judgment for amount and costs. Same v. Donald, debt £29 4s 3d— settled out of court. Same r. Ashdown, debt £13 19s 9d—judgment for amount and costs. Same v. James Brcwn, debt £11 16s 9d— judgment for amount and costs. came v. Roberts, debt 15a 9d— -judgment for amount and costs. Same v. R. h. Bannister, debt, £5 lls 8d — settled out of court.
