The Lyttelton Times, of the 1 1th inst., says:
—The flour trade throughout the week has exhibited more animation. Sales are more easily effected, the market is firm, and a large business done at full prices ; our last quotations are still ruling, but judging from the general tone of the market, and the adTices to hand from the Australian colonies, prices must adrance. Currents rates are viz :— Best Canterbury, £20 ; Chilian, £21 to £22; Adelaide, £26 ; bran has a slower sale at £8 ; sharps at £8 10s per ton. The speculation in oats has entirely subsided $ the demand during the week has been limited ; still prices are firm, at 6s for prime feed. Hay It unchanged ia value ? the auppir contfowiea equal to the demand* at £4. to £4 Ws per ton delivered. Potatoes.— This market lias been somewhat relieved by a few shipments, which has served to steady prices ; £3 to £3 10s may be quoted for prime eating sampipa.
