RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

This Day. (Before C. D. R. Ward, Esq., R.M.) Robert Nevin was charged with being of unsound mind. A constable stated that about hwlf-past twelve o'clock last night he heard a man <J lling "Police ! Police!" in Manners street, and on going there he found the prisoner, who said that a man was following him to take his life, and that the house in which he lived was on fire. He then locked him up. The prisoner was remanded for medical examination. Robert Somerville v. James Thompson ; claim £18 16s 6d, for goods delivered — Judgment for amount and costs.
