CONTRACT FOR RUNNING MAIL COACHES BETWEEN WELLINGTON AND WAIRARAPA. Provincial Secretary's Office, Wellington, Ist September, 1865. JTIENDERS will be received at this office X untill NOON of MONDAY, the 11th September, from persons willing to run Mail Coaches between Wellington and Wairarapa, twice a week each way. The tender must specify— 1. The date on which it is proposed to commence running, the days of starting from Wellington and Wairarapa respectively, the accommodation for mails, passengers, and luggage, and the number of hours occupied in the journey. 2. The rate of subsidy and the periods for which it will be required. The penalties for del iy in arrival and departure, and the security to be provided for the due performance of the service, to be subject to mutual arrangement on the acceptance of the tender.
