TO BE LET ON LEASE. THE RANGITIKI EDUCATIONAL RESERVES. rfIENDERS are invited for the above _|_ Reserves, under the Educational Reserves Act, Session IX., No. 7, for the term of 7, 10, or 14 years. The RANGITIKI RESERVES are rich open land, and consist of :—: — Ist. 214 Acres, in the Bonny Glen, being part of Section No. 20, Agricultural Reserve No. 1 , is surrounded by improved properties, and has a road frontage on two sides. 2nd. 214 Acres, part of Section 31, near the southw est corner of Agricultural Reserve No. 1, adjoining the property of Mr. John Glasgow. This Block has also a road frontage on two sides, and is within a few chains of the Great North-western Road. Tenders must state the nature and extent of the improvements to be made, the annual rental, and the number of years, and must be forwarded to the Provincial Secretary, Wellington, on or before the THIRTY-FIRST day of AUGUST, 1865. Plans of the properties may be seen at the Land Offices, Wellington, and Wanganui, and also at the Stores of Messrs. Franklin and Hirst, Turakina ; Court House, Marsden, Tutanui ; and Mr. James Bull's, Rangitiki. 27th July, 1865. CONTRACT FOR RUNNING MAIL COACHES BETWEEN WELLINGTON & WANGANUI. Provincial Secretary's Office, Wellington, Aug. 23rd, 1865. mENDERS will be received at this office JL until NOON of SATURDAY, the 2nd of September, from persons willing to run Mail Coaches between Wellington and Wanfianui, twice a week each way. The tei ders must specify — 1. The date on which it is proposed to commence running, the days of starting from Wellington and Wanganui respectively, the accommodation for mails, passengers, and luggage, and the number of hours occupied in the journey. 2. The rate of subsidy, and the period for which it will be required. The penalties for delay in arrival and departure, and the security to be provided for tho due performance of the service, to be subject to mutual arrangement on the acceptance of the tender.
