The Catholic Oath Bill has been rejected Dy the House of Lords. The harvest prospects have been improved by abundant rain. America claims the right to capture rebel vessels under any flag, and will not salute British naval vessels until England withdraws the twenty-four hours' rule. The trial of Jefferson Davis is postponed till September. Negotiations are suspended between Home and Florence. Consols, 90.
