We regret to say that J. Goodrich, a seaman, W. Walters, cook, J. Wray, carpenter, and W. Cox, a boy, all belonging to the ship Chapman, were drowned while sailing a boat in the harbour yesterday afternoon. It appears from inforniation given, by the only survivor' 6f the beat's crew, a seaman named William Eussejl, that a sudden puff of wind capsized "the boat just off foame's Island. Russell reached Peninsula Point after being two and a-half hours in the water, and saw the lad, who had been swimming side by side with him, go down within 100 yards of the shore* The other three men he had last seen clinging to the keel of the boat. One body has been washed ashore in Evan's Bay this afternoon, but has not yet been identified . and the boat it novr lying high and dry well up the same bay.
