ARREST OF ONE OF THE WAIROA MURDERERS.
On the 29th ult., Hori Taka was apprehended on a warrant in St. George's Bay, by Special Constable Bnrt, assisted by a Maori of the name of Walter Teopa, for being the actual murderer, or an accessory to the murders, of Charlus Coopur, Job Ilamlin, and two European children. The actual names of the children were unknown to the informant, Wiremu te Oka, npnn whose oath the warrant was issued. — New Zealander.
