The Evening Post. TUESDAY, MAY 30, 1865. THE WRECK.

Nothing in addition to what we published yesterday evening has transpired calcnlated to give a name to the unfortunate vessel whose fragments have been east, on our shore. The fact of some cabin iurniture being found, recognised as belonging to the City of Dunedin, steamer, negatives the idea that the vessel's decks only were washed. Tomorrow, however, we hope to be in a position to clear up the mystery, the hon. Major Rlchardsou having sent the Harbour Master to search the Terawiti Coast, in hopes of throwing additional light on the matter. Major Richardson has himself left fur the purpose of 8 arching other localities.
