Extraordinary Sagacity and Fidelity
of A Dog. — Mr. Culverston, sexton of the Church of England burial ground, Orange, gives us the following :— Un Saturday last, a child was buried, whose friends live at the Canoblas; on Saturday another one, from Pretty Plains, was committed to the earth within five yards of the former, After the ceremony was over the friends left. On Monday forenoon, Mr. Culvers^on went to the graves for the purpose of finishing them off in a becoming manner wiien, to his surprise, he found a cattle dog lying on the grave of the little one buried on Sunday. Shortly afterwards the dog was seen still lingering in the neighbourhood. —Western Examiner.
