THIS WHEAT is a very large, coarseerained red variety, and is mainly rema- kable for its extreme productiveness, frrq'ientl.v yielding in England so much as 108 Buslie 8 per Acre, where it still sells for Seed at two guineas per bushel. The yield in Canterbury this seanon has b en 78 bushels from one and a half bushels of grain sown on one acre, so late as tie 31st of l<ist July, being fully two months beyond its proper season for sowing. The one and a hal bushels of sepd was imporel last season, at bi-.'h price, from the farm of Mr. J. Parl y, of Brentwood, in the snu'h of England, where this variety of whtat is extensively grown ; and high prices nave been offered for its re exportation to England, after two seasons growth in Canterbury. The Canterbury Pastoral and Agricultural Asocial i in at their recent xhibiiion awarded a first prizt- to a three bushel sample of wheat.
