Thu Marquis ot Exeter, the principal proprietor of the Stamford and Essendine Railway, hns taken the working of it into his own hands. The Marquis has purchased new rolling stocks, and hns commenced running the train* with officials of his own appointment, the agreement with the Great Northern for working the line having expired. The first class carriages now bear the coat of arms of the marquis.
