The Market Commissioners hare let the Market tolls, rents, and dues, for a period of twelve months, commencing April 8, 1865, to Richard Etger, of WellingI ton, wliD is hereby authorized until further notice to conduct the Niid Public Market, and to receive the said toll*, rents, or dues, in accordance with Bye Laws and Market Act, No. 12, Session I. THE undersigned Lessee of the Public Market hereby gives notice that he is prepared ts receive application for the rent of Stalls in above Market. c Public attention is drawn to the following clause in the ordinance of the Provincial Council, No. 12, Session; 1853-54. " If after the establishment of any market, and such notice th r reof as aforesaid, any person shall sell or expose for sale any articles or marketable commodities usually sold in markets, in any of the streets, entries, lanes, or other public passage or places in the town iv which a market shall have been established, other than the place or places which may be so appointed by the Commissioners for holding a m trket, every such person shall, on conviction thereof, before a Justice of the Peace, for every sunh offence, foritit the sura of twenty shillings. "Piovided that nothing herein contained shall be construed to extend to prevent any person from selling or exposing for sale any marketable commodities, matters or things whatsoever in his dwelling house or shop in any part of the town."
