THE NEW MARKET.
TO THE EDITOR OE THE EVENING POST. Siu— Can you inform any of your readers upon what data the Market Commissioners intend to found their letting the tolls, &c, of the market, as I know those who would wish to tender if they could ascertain the particulars, that is— what the stalls are to be each, what the tolls, and what the hours to be optned and closed. I have no doubt the market commissioners are right in letting by tender if they have first ascertained the probable amount the stalls will bring in, provided they were all let, or a given per centage for their being employed. I am of opinion they ought to have kept it in their own bandg for six months before they let it on tender, and have got it into good working order, to make sure that it was properly conducted, at well as to ascertain whether the first six months would establish or condemn it. I am, &c , A Tenderss.
