USE FOR OLD RECORDS

Bric-a-brac from gramophone records! That is the solution of what to do with old damaged, or disliked discs, says the Sunday Dispatch. The j record is placed in a hot oven for ,

about a minute—until it becomes pliable. Then it may be moulded into I any shape desired. Bowls, trays and I other useful things, as well as ornaments, may be shaped. Bulb bowls made a favourite model, ,the hole in the middle of the record

coming in handy. The great advantage of this new hobby is that the ornament may be changed into a totally different design simply by putj ting it back into the oven and re- ! modelling it. Paint may be applied as I desired.
