BULL BEHIND THE COUNTER.

In Glasgow the bull in a china shop has been almost equalled by a bullock j behind the counter. As a drove of bullocks was passing along Duke street one of them made a dash for a newsagent's shop, frightened'the woman who was keeping shop out at the back door, and lay down behind the counter to wait for the police. The police could not move the bullock, partly because it had stuck, and a joiner- had to saw part of the counter away before the animal could be got out.
