At any rate, most people can give instances where the shadow of the future has been felt, clouding the present with a vague feeling of impending misfortune. According to the .Otago "Daily Times" such an instance was mentioned in the Coroner's Court at Dunedin last week during, an enquiry into a fatad motor accident by Mr A. S. Adams, who said that the deceased always had a special fear of motor cars, and carried an identification ticket in his pocket, having a presentiment that he would be run over in that way.
