The Leeaton branch of the Snlvnti*«n Army celebrated a very successlul tlin< days campaign on fciaturd y, Sun 'ay and Monday last, conoluding with a t^a meeting on the last named evening. On Saturday, the Lasses' Brass Band ar rived from Christchurch, nnd the same

There was a good attendance, at. tlio Barracks on Suturd*y nitfbt, when a , Salvation meeting was held. The fine weather of Sunday permitted nmny friends and sympathisers from a distunes to be present, and all the iiK-eiin^ throughout the day were well attended. Monday's mee.iug, however, was by far the largest, the Barracks bein ? crowded. After full justice had been dona to an excellent tea, a Musical Festival was conducted. Songs were given by S'ster Burrell, of the Lasses' Band, "and by Sister McDonald ; by Major Viace and by Captain Jackson. Tile accompaniments on the concertina aad banjo were admirably played. The songs were interspersed with the short addresses of Army meetings, and the entire proceedings passed oif very satisfactorily.
