The informawas laid under the Town By Laws, | which permit of accuse 1 b-*ing given the option of fine or imprisonment. He pleaded not guilty. Constable Warring proved that accused was noisy and making 'use of very ! offensive language m the Town Hall on the previous evening during tbe progress of tbe concert. He was ejected, and again m tbe street used foul language . L. Langeshwardt gave corroborative evidence. In defence, accused, who seemed still under the influence of liquor, said he was p ingiog a Gaelic song, which the witnesses mistook for bad language. The Bench administered a very severe , ebuke to the accused, aijd fined him £5 '
