The following is the weekly report of tbs manager nf White’s Beef Co., ending Bth January, 1887 Mine,-Since my last tho intermediate west drive hss been extended 12ft, and is about 2ft thick and payable. I have also broken through into another shaft, which will be useful, as I think-the reef is still going west. I pnt up a riMmt at the back of main tunnel, and struokUe reef. It is also abont 2ft thick, oarryin£%bod gold. I have two shifts on now, and intend putting more- when the timber arrives. At present we are crushing Messrs Orossan and White’s quartx, wh'oh will be finished by Tuesday.
