DISTRICT HANDICAP, Of 20 sovs. Nomination, 10s ; Acceptance, 10s. Winner of the Alexandra Haudicap to carry 71b penalty. Distance, 1 mile and a quarter, HACK SELLING RACE, Of 10 sovs. The winner to be sold for Ll3, and the surplus (if any) to go to the race fund. Entrance, 'Sr. Distance, 1 mile. No weight under 9st. RULES AND REGULATIONS. Nominations for the Alexandra Tlandicap, District Handicap, ami Handicap Trotting Race, must bo received by the Secretary before 8 p.m on Tuesday, September 7. W eights, etc., will be published in the Dijnstan Tints on Friday, .September 10. Acceptances for all Handicaps, and en- I tries for the Maiden Plate, must be re- I eeived by the Secretary before 8 pm. on Thursday, September 30. Three horses to accept- in each Handicap, or no race. Five per cant, will bo deducted from the gross amount of stakes for expenses. No Qualification Foe required. Any person entering a protest must deposit L2, and should such protest bo deemed frivolous by tho Stewards,' the amount will be forfeited. The Dunedin Jockey LTub Rules will be strictly enforced, W.
