Sin—According to the rep rtin “Otago Witness” of proceedings at last week's meeting of' Waste Lan's Board, Mr Sk w, the Rab'dt Inspector, reports there are to rabbits on the vacant sections on M'altera T Hun. I can only say,' Sir, that to save ray * o’-ops I have been compelled to employ two men on the said sections to keep them otf of mine. It is a great pity .Mr Shaw did nob visit *he ground before he mad- any such a report. It is -quite true the weather hag been very dry of late and water is aoaro*, and maybe Mr Shaw has been -afraid of going off the main road where there is nothing to drink.—l am, eta, James McArthur.
