All Nominations and acceptances mu-t be in the hands of the Secretary at the Sham rock Hotel, Ophir, not later than the hour s specified. Note.— Subscribers of £1 Is to the Race Fund will be admitted to the ground and Grand Stand free during meeting. RULES AND REGULATIONS. No person shall be allowed to enter or run a horse unless qualified as a subscriber of not less than 21s to the race fund ; post entry races excepted. No entries will be received for any of the above Races except upon this condition I That all disputes, claims, and objections {arising out of the Racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whomsoever they may appoint, and their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. Three horses to start tor all post entry races or no event.
Jockey costume will be enforced. Five per cent, will be deducted from all stakes. The Dunedin Jockey Club Rules will bo strictly enforced. Any person entering a protest will have to deposit the sum of £1 Is, and should such protest bo deemed frivolous by the Stewards, the amount will be forfeited.
