Weight for age (new scale). Entrance, 15s, Time Handicap Trot, of 10 sovs. Twice round the course. No weight under 10st. Nomination, 10s. Acceptance, ss. The rider of the winning horse to be presented with a pair of spurs. 1 Novel Handicap, of 20 sovs. One and aquarter miles. Nomination, 10s. Acceptance, Ss. The winner to be sold by public auction immediately after the race, and the proceeds to go to the race fund.

RULES AND REGULATIONS, Nominations for the Spring Handicap and Handicap Trot must be lodged with the Secretary not later than Bpm on Thursday, the 17th of September. Handicaps of same will be declared at the Poit Phillip Hotel at 8 p.m. on Saturday, the 19tb. Nominations for the Novel Handicap must be lodged not later than 8 p.m. on Saturday, the 19th Handicap to be declared at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, the 22nd September. Acceptances for all Handicaps, together with entrances foi Maiden Plae, must he lodged with the Sec etarv not later than 8 p.m on Thursday, the 24th September. No entry will be received for any of the above races except upon the following conditions That all disputes, c’aims, and objections arising out of the racing shall he decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, their decision On all points to be final. Any person entering » protest must deposit therewith l<2, and should such protest be deemed frivolous by the Stewards the amount to be forfeited.
