IN accordance with the provisions of the 45 and following Clauses of the “Licensing Act, 1881,” and the “Licensing Act, 1831,” “ Amendment Act, 1882,’ I hereby give notice that a Poll of the Ratepayers will be taken in the Resident Magistrate’s Court House at Ophir, on Friday, the X2Bth £day of August, 1885, between the hours of 9 am. and 6 p.m,, to determine whether there may or may not be an increase of the following Licenses, viz—Publicans, New Zealand Wine, Accommodation, or Bottle.

I John Stewart Dickie, of Clyde, in 5 tho Duuatan Licensing District* publican, being the holder of a Publican’s License in respect of the house and premises situate at Sunderland street, Clyde, aforesaid, known as the Port Phillip Hotel, do hereby give Notice that I desire to obtain, and will, at the next meeting to be holden at the Court House, Clyde, aforesaid, on the Tenth day of SEPTEMBER, 1885, at Noon, apply for a transfer of the said license from myself to Charles Holden, my appointee.
