Let such persons (he or she) sit quietly down in the privacy of their own apartments, and with calm minds describe clearly each symptom of their case, a clear statement thus written, and laid before me is far preferable in nervous diseases to a personal consultation Where, however, a disease is of a peculiar and exceptional character, a personal consultation may become necessary ; but my success in correspondence is so great, that of iho thousands upon thousands whom I have treated by letter during the last 32 y ears,not a single mistake has ever occurred, not a case has ever been made public -in tact, the very simplicity of my system of correspondence pre vents publicity. A t the same time medicines are sent to my patients in such a torm as to defy detection. How many thousands have I not brought joy to? How many have been enabled to enter into the raaariage state through consu'ting me ?
