TENDERS will be received at the County Offices, Clyde, np till 3 p.m. of WEDNESDAY, the 28th day of JANUARY, 1885, {for the undermentioned works : CONTRACT No. 126.—Formation of two miles of the aborementioned road, commencing at a point on the WaikaiaSwitzers track, near J. Ferago’s house, and terminating at the end of the burnt bush at the top of the White* comb Spur. CONTRACT No. 127.—Formation; length 3 miles. J, Being |a continuation of the preceding contract along the top of the Range towards the Shingle Creek j Shelter Shed. CONTRACT No. 128. -Formation ; length 3 miles. A further continuation of the same, terminating at a point about I mile from the Shelter Shed. CONTRACT No. 129.—Formation ; length 2 miles, 44 chains, commencing at end of last mentioned contract, and terminating at a point on the Shingle Creek Spnr of the Old Mon Range, one mile and a-half from the top. Plans and specifications may be seen at the County Offices, Clyde, from the present date up till THURSDAY, the 15th JANUARY ; and at the Borough Council Offices, Roxburgh, from the 17th to the 26th of January, both dates inclusive. Forms of tender and schedule may also be obtained at both places, and contractors are here reminded that tenders are informal unless written on the forms provided, Tenders are to be addressed to the Chairman, accompanied by an endorsed cheque for 5 per cent, on the amount, and marked on the outside of the envelope “Tender for Contract No. ——” (as the case may be). Application is hereby made under the provisions of section 93 of the Mines Act, 1877, for a one mile in length of the bed of the River Molyneux in the Dunstan Flat, adjoining the upper northerly pegs of the Special Claim at present applied for by John Hutton McQueen, and extending thence upwards, as the same is marked by pegs ami trendies by me.
