The Treasurer stated lie - had not-yot received from, the Resident, Surgeon, the vouchers of passage money of patient Murdoch to the Horae Country
The Secretary was'instructed to Write to Dr Lewis for all vouchers in connection with patient Murdoch. t ; The Resident Surgeon’s report waa read and adopted. ‘ V Mr G Attfield was elected member of the Visiting Committee. The Water Supcdy Committee reported that application had been.made to Mr Dis-« t-ict Surveyor Mackay to survey the course of the proposed new water race, and'that gentleman had intimated that on the request of the Committee of .Management;he would be prepa> ed to make the_ survey. ’ Resolved : That the Secretary write to Mr Mackay requesting him tosurvey the course of the .water race from its source in. Wia Puna Oreepk to the Hospital. Resolved: That the Secretary write to the Vincent County Council notifying the intention of the Hospi al Committee to ooq-r struct a water race, and to ask penaismop to make the necessary culverts across thecounty roads. ■- ’ Mr Stevens gave notice of motion—i That be .would »t the next monthly meeting move that the salary of the Resident Surgeon be re-moed to L2oO.per annum. The Secretaiy was instructed to write to the Secretaries of the Cromwell, Wskatipu, Arrow, Naseby, , and Lawrence hospitals, inquiring the salaries paid to the resident surgeons ot their respective institutions.
