Any present trustee may transfer the management of the trnst property to the Public Trustee, who will thereupon hold such property upon the original trusts attaching thereto. Any person, company, association, or public body within or without the colony, may place any property belonging to them in charge of the Public Trustee upon trust for such uses as may be defined in the deed creating che trust. Any building, land, or friendly society may, by its rules, provide thae property belonging to it may be placed in the Pnbho Trust Office, for such trusts and uses and with such powers as may be defined in or by the said rules. The advantages offered are : Ist. State Quaeantee against peculation, fraud, or dishonesty. All proposed investments are considered by a board, consisting of tbe Honorable Colonial Treasurer, the Attorney General, tbe Comptroller and Auditor General, the Government Insurance Commissioner, and the Public Trustee. Careful consideration of all securities offered is therefore ensured. 3. The Public Trustee, in his corporate capacity, never dies, never leaves the COUNTRY, AND NEVES BECOMES IHCAPAciated, thus avoiding the many inconveniences resulting from frequent fresh appointments of Trustees, necessitated by death, change of abode, or mental or bodily infirmitv. 4th. Punctuality and promptitude in the remittance of periodical payments to bene- • ficiaries under trust or will to any part of the colony or elsewhere at which it may be desired that payments should be made. 6. Tbe effective check which is called into operation before any moneys can be drawn from *be Public Trustee’s account. 6th. Seasonable charges : On estates such as are now being considered the Public Trustee is authorised to charge 14 per cent, on all receipts, and per cent, on disbursements, and 5s per cent, on all moneys invested. No charge if made for obtaining probate, nor for passing stamp and property tax returns, nor for correspondence however voluminous. Thus the saving to estates placed in this office is considerable.
