The quarterly meeting of the Golden ■Stream Lodge, No. 113, 1.0. G.T., was held •at the Lo ige Room, the Fuhbo Library, Alexandra South, on the evening of Saturday, the 10th inst. The meeting was bat meaterly attended, which in the interest of the temperance cause is much to be reg letted. The report of the retiring officers were read and adopted, which showed the lodge to be in a favourabl® condition financially. Numerically the lodge has for the past 12 m mtha about held its own, there being a present membership of 30 in good standing. On the motion of Bro McNeil, L.D., a hearty vote of thanks was accorded the retiring officers. Bro. George Maoneil, D.G.W.0.T,, next proceeded with the installation of officers ■for the ensuing terra, which resulted as follows W.0.T., Bro, Anderson ; W.N.T., Bro. Sima ; W.S., Sis. Ida M. Thompson; W.F.S., Bro. Pattison (re elected) ; \V.T., Bro. W. Thomson (re-elected); W.C., Sis. M. Brown (re-elected); W. VI., Bro. Blue; W.1.G., Bro. Weaver; W. 0.6., Bro. D. Thomson ; W.R.H.S., Sis. M. Robertson ; W.L.H.S., Sis M. A. Thomson ; Bro. R. Lett occupies the chair of P W C.T. Bro W. Thomson proposed a vote of thanks to Bro. McNeill for tho efficient way in which he conducted the installation, Seconded by Bro. Pattison and carried by acclamation. The meeting then closed.
