gPORTING NEWS. THIRD GRAND DRAWING IS NOW OPEM ! Unparalled success of these Grand Draw* ings, as they are carried out on the same principle as in Hamburg and other Continental Cities. The First Drawing for L2OOO, and tha Second Drawing for L3OOO, filled before the advertised time for drawing. The Company were induced to make this Third Drawing for L3UOO, in consequence of the great success, and also the confidence gained from the public since opening these Hamburg Drawings. This Third Drawing will take place not later than the end of June, and the Fourth Drawing will open on the Ist July. Late applications are registered for the Third Dim wing. Over 550 applications for programmes are now registers. I for the Third Drawing. This Third Grand Drawing will consist of 240 Money Prizes, amounting to L3OOO, subscribed by 6000 members at 10s each, The various Money Priz-s will be Distributed as follows :—1 L3OO P.ize ; 1 Ll5O Prize ; 1 LIOO Prize ; 2 LSO Prizes ; 5 L3O Prizes ; 10 L 25 prizes ; 10 L2O prizes ; 10 Lls Piiz-s ; 110'L10 Prizes ; 80 L 5 Prizes Total amount, L3OIIO. 240 Money Friz s. The Grand principle of these Hamburg Drawings is that a purchaser of 25 Piogrammes is guaranteed a Prize, as it is so drawn that a prize must come out to every 25 number**, and the chances are in favour of the investor drawing a large prize, as there are 160 large prizes against 80 small ones. To any investor of L2 the chances are only 6 to I against him drawing a prize, and the Head Prize or any other may be drawn by any investor of 10s. The Company would not presume to tell the public that they have a number of chances and can win a number of priz ts tor a single investment of 10s. The large bulk of the Money in this Grand Drawing is not given away in one big prize, as in the Horse Consultations, but you will observe in this Hamburg Drawing that the 1,3000 is fairly proportioned into 240 Prizes, giving every shareholder an equal chance of getting a good prize. This Hamburg Drawing is one of the most novel, and will be conducted on the faiesc principle possible, so as to give entire public satisfaction. Tuis Third Grand Drawing for L3OOO will take place under the supervision of a committee of eight gentlemen, and the prizes will be paid over as early as possible after the drawing.
