gPORTIN, G NEWS. THIRD GRAND DRAWING IS NOW OPEN I Unparalled success of these Grand Draw* ings, as they are carried out on the same principle as in Hamburg and other Conti* nental Cities. The First Drawing for L2OOO, and the Second Drawing for L3OOO, filled before the advertised time for drawing. The Company were induced to make this Third Drawing for 1.3:100, in consequence of the great success, and also the confidence gained from the public since opening these Hamburg Drawings, This Third Drawing will take place not later than the end of June, and the Fourth Drawing will open on.the Ist July. Late applications are registered for the Third Drawing. Over 650 applications for programmes are now registered for the Third Drawing. This Third Grand Drawing will consist of 240 Money Prizes, amounting to L3OOO, subscribed by 6000 members at 10s each. The various Money Prizes will be Distributed as follows;: —I L3OO Prize; 1 LISD Prize ; I HOO Prize ; 2 1.50 Prizes ; 5 L3O Prizes ; 10 L 26 prizes ; 10 L2O prizes ; It) Lls Prizes ; 110 LlO Prizes ; 80 L 5 Prizes Total amount, L3OOO. 240 Money Prizes. The Grand principle of these Hamburg Drawings is that a purchaser of 25 Programmes is guaranteed a Prize, as it is so drawn that a prize must come out to every 25 number*,and the chances are in favour of the investor drawing a large prize, as there are 160 large prizes against 80 small ones. To any investor of L2 the chances are ody 6 to 1 against him drawing a prize, and the Reed Prize or any other may be drawn by any investor of 10s. The Company would not presume to tell the public that they have a number of chances and can win a number of prizes fur a single investment of lUs. The large bulk of the Money in this Grand Drawing is not given away in one big prize, as in the Horse Consultations, i hut you will observe in this Hamburg Drawing that the 1,3000 is fairly proportioned into 240 Prizes, giving every shareholder an eqnal chance of getting a good prize. This Hamburg Drawing is one of the most novel, and will be conducted on the fairest principle possible, ' so as to give entire public satisfaction. This Third Grand Drawing for L3OOO will take place under the supervision of a committee of eight gentlemen, and the prizes will be paid over as early as possible after the drawing.
