A terrible scene took place at the mmdsr. When the assassin confronted VbiyUu he fired at him, and the bullet lodged iu the unfortunate man’s chest. Moylan fell, and the murderer preaeu'el the guu a second time, but Moylau’s wife threw herself on her husband to protect him. r he assassin laid down his gun and dragged her accros the mad, threatening to kill her if she gave an alarm. He then picked up the weapon, again fired at the prostrate man and killed him. There is no cine to the assassin. According to latest informuioa the wi-iow of Moylin states f hat he must have been shot in mis take for some other person. It appears that he was walking along the high road with his wi e, when a rn in, ar.ne-1 with a double-barrelled goo, accosted them and sail, “ Are you Brown or Bark? 1 ' Moylan made no reply, and ihe stranger fire I at him. Moylan fell, and the murderer then threatened to shoot ihe wile if soe screamed or called for the pilice. He weak up to where Moylan was lying, and as the wounded man lay on the load fired at him a second time, tie then examined the body to asoertabi if life was extinct, and wa ken away. Six airests ma I have been madeon suspicion, viz., two men recently returned from England, two men who state that they had left Headforil, ami were on their way to Liverpool, and two young men who reside in ftalway, ami who had c-ms from Aniiaghdrun shortly after the time ihe murder was committed.
